SkyView SV-NET-XX Network Cables

SkyView Network Cables: SkyView Network cables are all straight-through 9-wire cables, made of aircraft quality Tefzel wiring to insure quality and safety. (Except for SV-NET-TEST.)

They contain:
* Two sets of twisted wire pairs for two SkyView Network connections (for redundancy)
* Two sets of 8V Power and Ground wires (for redundancy)
* One 12 Volt wire
* (Note: The SV-NET-SERVO has seven wires, and the power and ground wires are a larger gauge to carry the larger current requirements of the servos.)

SV-NET-3CC and SV-NET-6CC: These are shorter cables with D9 connectors attached to both ends. They provide almost "plug-and-play" connectivity between two Displays, between a Display and a ADAHRS Module, or a between a Display and an EMS Module.

SV-NET-10CP, SV-NET-15CP, and SV-NET-20CP: These longer cables are intended to connect a display to an ADAHRS Module located back in the fuselage or wing. Or, for aircraft with a rear engine, they are used to connect to the EMS Module mounted near the aft firewall. One end has only the pins crimped to the wires, so that the cable can be easily routed through bulkhead through-holes, conduits, and other tight paths. Once the cable is installed in the aircraft the pins can be easily affixed to the D9 connector with the included insertion tool.

SV-NET-SPL: This one foot long cable allows one SkyView Network connection to be split into two. For example, if two ADAHRS are mounted in the fuselage, one longer SV-NET-XXCP can run from a Display to the ADAHRS location, and then split into two ports for the two ADAHRS Modules. Included with every SV-NET-SPL is a SV-NET-CHG Gender Changer. This allows a longer second cable to be connected.

SV-NET-SERVO: This kit helps wire the autopilot servos. It includes 20" of Tefzel wires: two pairs of twisted 22 gauge network wires, one 22 gauge quick disconnect wire, and two 20 gauge wires for power and ground. Also included are three D9 connectors (one male, two females), 18 pins, a pin insertion tool, shrink tubing, and tie wraps. One kit is required for each servo. A crimping tool is required (not sold by Dynon) to attach the pins to the wires.

SV-NET-CHG: This Gender Changer connection allows two SkyView Network cables to be connected end-to-end. It is not always needed, but may be useful for extending the distance between two ADAHRS for example. The SV-NET-CHG is not separately orderable; however they are commonly available from computer and electronic supply stores like Radio Shack.

SV-NET-TEST: A ten foot SkyView Network cable is included with every Display. It is intended as a convenience to connect a Display to a ADAHRS or EMS Module before the aircraft is completely wired together. It should not be used for actual aircraft installation since it it not made of Tefzel and is not aircraft quality. The SV-NET-TEST is not separately orderable.
