Why Dynon?

State-of-the-Art, Yet Affordable

Dynon's mission is to offer Experimental and Light Sport Aircraft state-of-the-art avionics at affordable prices. Dynon's innovative approach to avionics design provides glass cockpit avionics at prices that are often lower than the aggregate sum of all the analog gauges they replace. This significant paradigm shift allows smaller aircraft to fly behind modern glass cockpit avionics previously only available in airliners and business jets.

Proven EFIS Success

A three year R&D effort in ADAHRS technology, coupled with a wealth of experience gained from customer feedback, have made Dynon Avionics today's undisputed EFIS leader. Dynon's pioneering efforts to deliver great value at affordable prices were rewarded by sales of over 2000 EFIS instruments in its first two years.

Excellent Customer Service

Dynon's technical experts are available to handle any question, concern or problem in a prompt and professional manner. We treat each customer in the same manner that we as aircraft builders and owners expect to be treated ourselves. Our goal is not to increase profits by charging you for help with your Dynon Avionics products, but to go the extra mile so that you will consider us again next time you buy an instrument.

Warranty

Dynon offers a three year limited warranty from time of shipment.

Payment

Dynon Avionics does not take deposits to hold your place in line. Orders placed with Dynon do not require any payment until just prior to shipment. There are no penalty charges for canceling orders prior to shipment.

Free Updates

Dynon offers all firmware updates free of charge for the lifetime of each instrument it sells. The latest firmware can always be found in the downloads section of this web site. All Dynon Avionics instruments feature a serial connection for easy update via a laptop computer. These free lifetime updates help fix the cost of ownership, and guarantee that you get all the latest features.

Company History & Outlook

Dynon Avionics began business in January of 2000 with the development of the EFIS-D10. This product began shipping in March 2003 and was an instant success. Since then, Dynon has expanded its line of avionics using the same winning formula.

Dynon continues to enjoy strong revenue growth, profitable operations, and continues to invest heavily in research and development.

Reputation

Dynon earned the respect of its customers by adopting high standards of ethics and business practices. One practice that set it apart from many other aviation startups was to not accept any payment from prospective buyers until their actual unit was ready to ship. This same policy remains in force today.
