D10/D100 Series Software Downloads

Dynon Avionics provides free software and firmware. We encourage you to visit this page regularly to learn about any new features, enhancements or fixes.

The following software updates incorporate signifigant changes and fixes. Please see the "release notes" links below for more information. Note that software for Autopilot devices (servos and AP74) is incorporated in EFIS product software; you must have your servos and AP74 power ON while updating your EFIS product.

Please read the Firmware Installation Instructions before proceeding.

To update your Dynon product, download the Dynon Product Support Program, which includes the latest firmware for all Dynon products.

If you have an EDC-D10A, servos, and/or an AP74, make sure these devices are powered on and connected to your EFIS product during a firmware update process. Firmware must be loaded on the EFIS and EDC simultaneously.

WARNING: Please Read

Some users have experienced power loss on their laptops during firmware uploads. Before proceeeding with a firmware update on your Dynon product, we highly recommend that you connect your laptop to an AC power source to avoid partial firmware loads. Should your computer lose power in the middle of a firmware update, please DO NOT power cycle the Dynon instrument. If your instrument seems stuck on the yellow loader screen, power your laptop back up and continue the firmware update WITHOUT restarting the Dynon instrument. Power cycling the Dynon instrument during a firmware update will result in a failure that will require factory service.

USB-Serial Converter Drivers

USB-Serial Converter Driver Installer

These are the updated drivers for use with USB-Serial converters sold by Dynon Avionics. They may not work with other USB-serial converters. These drivers are for use with most recent versions of Windows through Windows 7. After the driver install finishes, you may need to disconnect and reconnect the USB-serial converter before it will work properly.
