Discontinued Products

The following products are no longer manufactured or sold by Dynon Avionics:

Non-SuperBright EFIS-D100, EMS-D120, FlightDEK-D180

The EFIS-D100, EMS-D120, and FlightDEK-D180 standard versions are no longer available. The SuperBright versions are still available. The following table shows the products that should be substituted for the discontinued models.

The following products are no longer manufactured nor can be repaired by Dynon Avionics:

EFIS-D10 and EDC-D10

The EFIS-D10 was Dynon's very first design and was replaced by the EFIS-D10A and the EFIS-D6. The Remote Compass EDC-D10 has been replaced by the EDC-D10A.

Dynon offers a program for trading up to the EFIS-D10A or the EFIS-D6, with half-price discounts on the newer products. After trading up, your new EFIS-D10A or EFIS-D6 and EDC-D10A come with new 3-year warranties.

Trade-Up Details

Customers interested in sending back their EFIS-D10 to earn the discount on the EFIS-D10A or EFIS-D6 should contact Dynon Avionics at 425-402-0433 to obtain return authorization and arrange payment. Please obtain a return authorization BEFORE sending your unit in. When you receive a return material authorization (RMA) to return your unit to Dynon Avionics, please remove any fittings, brackets, or other accessories from the units product. Once we receive your unit, we will ship your new EFIS-D10A or EFIS-D6 to you.

The EFIS-D10A has a List Price of $2,200, plus the EDC-D10A is priced at $100, for a total of $2,300. With the half-price discount, your price for the combination is $1,150.

The EFIS-D6, which includes the EDC-D10A Remote Compass, has a List Price of $1,600. So your discounted price will be $800.

NOTES:

The EFIS-D10A does not have internal gray code altitude encoder output like the EFIS-D10 did. Instead, it has serial altitude output that is capable of providing altitude to some of the newest transponders such as the Garmin 327 and 330. If your transponder needs gray code input, you will need our optional Encoder Seral-to-Gray Code Converter Module for your upgraded EFIS-D10A ($80.) This will additionally require a bit of EFIS harness re-wiring.

Finally, note that if you own the EDC-D10 remote magnetomer, you will need to rearrange a few of the pins on your EDC connector once you recieve your new EDC-D10A.
