The COM/Transponder Module Mounting Tray Kit simplifies both the new and the retrofit installations of the remote mounted SkyView COM transceiver and the Skyview Transponder into your airplane.

By locating these modules in a tray that is designed to fasten to the radio rack where previous rack mounted COM and XPNDR transceivers were located, the components are located close to the power bus, and in a retrofit situation, close to existing wiring and antenna cabling.

The Module Mounting Tray may be installed either upright or inverted, with module access provided from underneath the instrument panel, or via a fabricated cover, depending upon the accessibility provided by surrounding equipment and structure. While intended to fasten to an existing radio rack, the Module Mounting Tray can also be adapted to mount these modules anywhere in the airplane.

The kit comes with the gold alodined aluminum module mounting tray, with nut plates attached for mounting the SV-COM-T8/T25 or SV-XPNDR-261 module quick release chassis, a cover plate, straps, and all hardware necessary for mounting modules and connecting the tray to existing structure.
